Follower Management and Follower Analysis are now available again!

Update date: June 9, 2023

Thank you for using SocialDog.

Today, we have resumed providing follower management and follower analysis features. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Features that are now available again

  • Analytics

    • Information such as new following and followers are available on the dashboard again.
  • Followers

    • Information of users you are following and your followers are available again.

Features above are not available for Twitter accounts that are in private mode.

Background

In order to respond to the recent changes to premium Twitter API, we have switched the source of following/followers information to NTT Data's "Twitter Data Provision Service".

Regarding Follow, Unfollow, Mute, Block, and Likes

We regret to inform you that the following features are no longer available on SocialDog. From now on, the following features must be performed on Twitter.

  • Follow
  • Unfollow
  • Mute
  • Block
  • Likes

Due to recent changes to premium Twitter API, a threshold limit has been set on the number of times the API can be used. Therefore, we have determined that it is difficult to provide these features in a way that does not exceed the API limits.

For following and followers information, we have switched to NTT Data's "Twitter Data Provision Service" to avoid the use of the premium Twitter API. However, since features such as following and unfollow are not provided by NTT Data's service, we have no choice but to discontinue these features.

We apologize for not being able to meet your expectations. We will continue to search for the possibility of providing these features again.

Caution

For new following, unfollowing, new followers, and unfollows during the period when the features is suspended will be displayed as if they were made after the features is resumed.

Therefore, the numbers of new following, unfollowing, new followers, and unfollows may appear to have increased rapidly. We are sorry, but we cannot recover this data.

We at SocialDog are continuing to strive to provide a service that meets the needs of all our users.

We thank you again for your continued support.
