About settlement of charges at the time of plan change
If you change from a paid plan to a paid plan by credit card payment (browser version), you may be required to pay for the service.
If you cancel (change your plan to a free plan), you will not be reimbursed.
In the case of settlements
We will reimburse you if you make a plan change that meets the following
- Credit card payment (for browser version, Apple ID payment is not applicable)
- When you change from a paid plan to a paid plan This includes changes to the payment period (monthly or annual payment categories) and the number of linked accounts only.
When to perform the reimbursement
When you change your plan from a paid plan to a paid plan
※If you change your plan and do not change your payment period (monthly or annual payment categories) before July 13, 2020, you will be reimbursed on the next payment date.
※If you change your plan from a paid plan to a paid plan on or after July 14, 2020, you will be reimbursed at the time you change your plan.
The concept of reimbursement
- The plan fee is calculated on a daily basis (actually calculated in minutes) and then added to the fee for each period.
- Charges for unused periods will be prorated and set off from the bill.
- If we are unable to offset a single charge, we will continue to offset it until the balance is exhausted.
- Please note that no refunds will be made for unused period of time.

Example 1: If the plan price goes up due to a change in payment period
The billing timing and amount will be as follows if the plan change is made on May 10 as follows

Example 2: If you make a plan change that doesn't change the payment period and your plan's price goes up (if you make the plan change before July 13, 2020)

Example 3: A change that doesn't change the payment period, which would lower the price of the plan (if the plan change is made before July 13, 2020)
