A new "Team" feature will be released to greatly enhance the "Account managers" functionality

We are pleased to announce the release of the new "Team" feature.
The "Team" feature is a greatly enhanced version of the "Account managers" feature.

The release date is scheduled for Monday, November 7, 2022.

What is "Team"?

"Team" is a new feature that allows multiple Twitter accounts to be managed by multiple SocialDog accounts. By linking Twitter accounts to a Team, all SocialDog users in the Team will be able to manage the linked Twitter accounts.

Twitter accounts and SocialDog accounts can be linked and belong to a Team.

Subscribe to a paid plan on a team basis

Example: If three people were using the Business Plan features, the plan fee was for three users. After the release of the "Team" feature, the fee will be per Team.

In the "Team" feature, a Team administrator can sign up for a paid plan, and the members of the team can also use the features of that plan.

With the previous "Account managers" feature, additional users could not use the paid plan for administrators, and each user had to sign up for a paid plan.

To add a member to your team, you must have a Business Plan, Old Business Plan (2020), Old Pro Plan (2016, 2017, 2018), or Old Basic Plan (2016).

Migration of "Team" feature from "Account managers" feature

With the release of the "Team" feature, the "Account managers" feature will no longer be available. This section provides information on the actions required to migrate to the "Team" feature.

For all users

A Team will be created for each existing SocialDog user. The Team name will be "Default team".

In addition, the following settings will be moved to the "Default team"

  • Current plans and payment methods
  • Linked Twitter account

If you have never used the "Account managers" feature before

Example: For a Pro Plan user with two Twitter accounts linked, the two Twitter accounts and plan will be migrated to the "Default team" that is automatically created.

Even if you are the only user of a SocialDog account, you will be migrated to the "Default team".
*No action is required on your part with the release of the "Team" feature.
*If you are currently using a paid plan, there will be no change in the amount you pay.

After the transition to the "Default team," there will be no change in SocialDog's features (Analysis, Tweets, Inbox, Follower Management, etc.), so you will still be able to use SocialDog as before.

If you have used the "Account managers" feature before
(including when you were invited to SocialDog by another user)

With the release of the "Team" feature, all Twitter accounts will be unlinked except one representative user from the "Owner" of the "Account managers". Therefore, it is necessary for customers to take action.

Whether or not the linkage has been removed is indicated on the "Account managers" page. Please check this page as it also displays the necessary actions to be taken.

Notice of Maintenance for Release

Maintenance will be performed on the following date and time for the release of the "Team" feature.

All features of SocialDog will be unavailable during the maintenance. Also, any reserved posts set during the maintenance will be posted sequentially after the maintenance ends.

  • Monday, November 7, 2022, 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. (UTC), for approximately 3 hours
